Fifteen years after his untimely death in 2003 at the age of 58, Mercury celebrates Whites legendary label run by remastering these long out of print albums from their original analogue master tapes for the first time since the 70s. Presented with the original sleeve and label art, the 180g vinyl reissues were cut at Abbey Road Studios in London to guarantee the highest possible audio quality.

The success of Stone Gon, the prolific entertainers second album of 1973, closely matched that of his debut boasting two Top 10 R&B singles and topping Billboards R&B chart. It features more epic and lengthy soul with the added frisson of Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up, all breathy seduction, strings hitting peaks and a gorgeous undercurrent of synthesized keys that herald the birth of disco as far as we know.
