Tehran-born, Berlin-based Sohrab Karimi takes to his fledgling Kolony Gorky for a trip of super deep dusted out minimal sounds. ‘Riddim1’ is mesmerizing , with flicking candlelight and ghostly vocals echoing in the distance, while haunting string sounds also steal your attention. ‘Yaaran’ is a dubby, swinging, more tech-edged affair but has a wide open arrangement that pulls you in like a black hole. ‘Color Of Love’ is a perfect post-club broken beat comedown.
