Jones first quest, Raiders of the Lost Ark went on to become the highest grossing film of the year, earning four Oscars in the process.

With 45 Academy Award nominations and five Oscars under his belt, John Williams has composed many of the most famous film scores in history, and has collaborated with Spielberg for over 40 years on over 20 films including Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and Schindlers List. Williams also composed the acclaimed scores for Lucas Star Wars saga, Superman: The Movie and the first three Harry Potter films.
