Highly anticipated debut album from British-born, Berlin-based James Welch aka Seams.
Recorded across four different areas of Berlin, the citys influence is apparent in Quarters minimal beats and focus on rhythm over melody. · Supporting Jon Hopkins at his headline London show in September, having previously supported Gold Panda, I Break Horses and Three Trapped Tigers.
Both CD and LP artwork is printed on reverse board with a double hit of high-build gloss UV varnish to bring out the gold quarters.
LP album is pressed on deluxe heavyweight vinyl with download code.
Previous releases Tourist / Sleeper (Full Time Hobby) and Focus Energy / Motive Order (Pictures) were lauded by the likes of Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw, Pitchfork, Dazed and Dummy.
