Office Politics is the follow up to the Top 10 album Foreverland.
The album is released on deluxe CD with bonus disc featuring the 15 track album Swallows & Amazons: The Original Piano Demos, double vinyl, standard CD and both deluxe (includes the bonus CD material) and standard digital download albums. (2LP includes digital download code for the deluxe digital download album.)
The album was written, arranged and produced by Neil Hannon and features guest vocals from Chris Difford of Squeeze, Cathy Davey and Pete Ruotolo.
The Divine Comedy announced an 11 date UK and Ireland tour for October, including a show at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London. Tickets are already on sale and dates are selling out fast.
Marketing to support the album will encompass a full cross section of digital advertising, a substantial outdoor campaign and press advertising in key titles.
The Divine Comedy have confirmed their first TV performance in support of the new record on the Sara Cox show, to be aired in June.
