Barn Owl follow Shadowland (their sold out 12 EP from June) with their second album for Thrill Jockey.
Lost In The Glare was recorded to tape by Phil Manley (Trans Am) in San Francisco and mastered at D&M in Berlin. The album features appearances from Michael Elrod (The Alps, Date Palms), Steve Dye (Portraits) and the crucial addition of drummer Jacob Felix Heule.
The CD version is packaged in a 4 panel mini-LP style gatefold package with a 4 panel booklet. The LP version is pressed on 150gram vinyl in a pressing of 1,500 copies (500 translucent blue, 1,000 black). Included is a free download coupon.
Barn Owl have just returned from a month long tour of Europe with Jefre Cantu-Ledesma (Type, Root Strata) and will be performing at this years Hopscotch Festival in addition to many more US dates in support.
