This is the first book of it’s kind, and could not be MORE PERFECT for an RSD launch. Over 700 rare paper and plastic record store bags from the UK – dating from the 1950s onwards together in one sublime graphic and historic ride through British record shopping. We have the shop where Dusty worked, the first shop to sell ska (a Jewish store in Stamford Hill!), where Bowie cut his msucial teeth, where the Beatles met Epstein, where The Cartel began – there are so many stories, hundreds of shops and all these beautiful bags, put together by one of the UK leading crate diggers and one of the UKs leading grpahci design teams. This 230 page full colour book will be lauc hed on RSD, and we are making 100 cooies with a special-die cut slipcase just for RAD shops, that will not be available anywhere else. PLUS a foreword by Jon (England’s Dreaming) Savage!!!
