Johnny Foreigner released their third album proper, Johhny Foreigner vs. Everything through Alcopop! on November 7th and after six months worth of passionate battles, trials and tribulations it exceeded all expectations. Outselling their major label funded debut in the first week sales were tremendous, and JoFo have continued to play sold out shows around the country off the back of its reception. Radio 1 and XFM loved it, the Guardian continued to sing its praises, slews of online reviews claimed it the best thing since records begun (ha!) and even MTV2 kept them in their hottest band chart. The fans have demanded it, and so Alcopop! Are re-releasing the record 7 months on, as a double 12 all lovely vinyl record.
Lex (vocalists) says We also knew that we were making a huge sprawling album, and when it came to the point we had over 45 minutes worth of music, we merely shrugged, murmured 2×12 to each other, and carried on till it was finished. Luckily the adults around us agreed, and youre going to be able to hold it in your own hands this June. Um, June. I know we said April, then May. Were taking our own sweet time. Partially cos we want to take advantage of a bigger canvas for the artwork, like were pink floyd or something. and partially cos we have this awesome/stupid idea to promote it that involves sending ourselves on a secret treasure trail first (note, its not a treasure trail). and partially, cos we three ghosts from the second city have this amazing opportunity to release our milestone record as a god damn fucking double 12 gatefold album, and we want it to be JUST PERFECT
If youre looking for a new logo to scribble on your English folder or a tune to hum while walking home alone after a night out, youre in safe hands with Johnny Foreigner. NME

The dual male and female lead vocalists is as excitingly fresh a noise as this reviewer has heard all year. RockSound
The raucous bursts perfectly counteract the measured, intentional breaks, leaving us with a group closer to completing their own jigsaw BBC Music
