With a career that includes 10 studio albums, 20 UK Top 40 singles, 12 million albums sold and worldwide touring success, James releases their first album in seven years. Recorded in 2007 in a self-built studio at a chateau in France, Hey Ma was produced by Lee Muddy Baker. The reformation of James is rooted in the simple desire amongst the three founding members, Tim Booth, Larry Gott and Jim Glennie, to play together again. In late 2007, for the first time in six years, the original lineup that wrote and recorded the album Laid, reformed for a series of concerts that reminded everyone of the lasting legacy of James.
