VALVE video games and IPECAC RECORDINGS have a partnership that dates back almost 15 years when we released the PORTAL 2 soundtracks. Since then, theres been releases of some of the biggest video game soundtracks out there including TEAM FORTRESS 2, DOTA 2 and the entire HALF-LIFE series. These have been some of Ipecacs best-selling physical and digital releases on the label.
HALF-LIFE: ALYX was originally released digitally as a series of 11 chapters from 20202022, and the physical release brings those together in two different formats
The HL:A game itself has sold over 2MM copies since 2020 and had added to the Half-Life series of games that has sold over 30MM copies.
