Description
The Wandering Hearts are a British Americana-Folk band known for their enchanting harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, influenced by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and have a similar sound to The Lumineers and First Aid Kit. Their new album, Déjà Vu (Weve All Been Here Before), is a beautiful re-work of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Youngs 1970 hit album of the same name. The album follows on from the album Mother, and their two sold out UK tours last year
Recorded in one week in Joshua Tree, Taurus Rising Studios, this isnt an album out to besmirch the original, but to become a loving companion without being an overly reverential copy. With a band as distinctive and exciting as The Wandering Hearts, a note-for-note facsimile was never an option. One listen to how The Wandering Hearts have taken Déjà Vus ten songs to new places and reimagined them over 50 years later, and its clear this is a very bold, very new work by one of Britains most accomplished Americana artists.
