Description
Dance with Death was recorded in 1968 but wasnt released on Blue Note until 1980. All the compositions were by pianist Andrew Hill, his group includes trumpeter Charles Tolliver, saxophonist Joe Farrell and drummer Billy Higgins. The All Music Guide review by Thom Jurek awarded the album 4.5 stars calling it a phenomenal record, one that wears its adventure and authority well.
