Description
AJJ (formerly known as Andrew Jackson Jihad) is an American folk punk band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2004. The band has been noted for their lyricism, which often covers themes of social anxiety, poverty, humanity, religion, existentialism, and politics.
For their sixth album, garage-pop veterans AJJ chose to reinforce their strengths and leave any limp frivolities behind. As a result, The Bible 2 is their most ambitious and assured collection of scuzzy punk screeds, employing even more production heft while sparing none of the vulnerability.
