Trwbador are blessed with a delicate sound somewhere between campfire folk of the late Sixties and ever-evolving bedroom electronics of the here and now, Trwbador have carved out their own little corner of the musical landscape over three years of working together. They have picked up praise along the way from the likes who Huw Stephens who described them as The most exciting band in Wales and Adam Walton who describes the sound as Original and Beautiful.
James Dean Bradfield from Manic Street Preachers and Tjinder Singh from Cornershop among others claim to be big fans.
Trwbador the self titled debut album by the duo is a collection of songs written across their first 3 years of existence and recorded in 5 different homes the band lived in during that period. The record is rich and varied in style and features collaborations a plenty, most notably Cornershop who provide sitar and tampura on Sun In The Winter.
Safe the first single from the album has been played on BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio Wales and Radio Cymru among others. The track Red Handkerchiefs features in the European wide 2013 TV advert campaign by Visit Wales.
