Description
Three years down the line from their last album release, the biggest Belgian rock band is finally back on the block. Keep You Close was produced by Dave Bottrill (Muse, Tool, Placebo) and Adam Noble (Guillemots, Mumford And Sons, Paul McCartney), and takes the band to album number six.
Something of a coming of age for the band, the album is surprisingly melodic the band opting for a more tradition verse chorus verse approach than their angular shouty early work.
Consequently the trademark gravelly voice of Tom Barman, is used to great effect over a guitar drenched backing, and is complemented by the equally sultry Greg Dulli on two of the tracks. He just happened to be in Belgium while the band were in the studio, and so he dropped in on the session!
