New Order Get Ready

Description

Once exceptional, New Order have seemingly spent the latter part of their career trying to undo the work of the first bit. Get Ready was their 2000 era comeback album and saw the band return to a tougher guitar-led sound with Peter Hook’s bass turned back up again following its disappearance on Republic. Possibly lacking the invention and panache of their golden years, it now sounds a lot better having heard what would happen on subsequent albums.
