Inspired by The Songs of Maldoror, the literary masterpiece written by Isidore Ducasse under the name Comte de Lautréamont in the late 19th century, Mão Morta created a unique and immersive performance. Blending music with theatre, video, and spoken word, the band — joined by a few artistic accomplices — pushed their dark, experimental edge even further.
It’s a project where sound and performance collide, turning Lautréamont’s surreal, violent imagery into a living, unsettling, and unforgettable stage experience. Mão Morta at their most provocative and essential.
