After Chrome finally wound down in 1983, underground guitar-god Helios Creed decided to strike out on his own, releasing his solo debut, X-Rated Fairy Tales, in 1985, followed by Superior Catholic Finger in 1989 (now reissued for the first time ever on vinyl)! While Fairy Tales has a more industrial feel, the sound on Finger is a stripped-down, hardcore, suicide ride to oblvion! The trippy tape loops and random sound effects of Chrome are largely gone, replaced by scathing, lightning-fast guitar licks and Creeds sinister vocals.
