Colours Of The Night (Satellite) is the Americans first songbased release in two years, during which the singer-songwritercomposer- multi-instrumentalist and serial collaborator was struck down by a debilitating illness that forced him to reevaluate his life. Here, in his own words, is what Peter has to say about it:

Folks! I am very excited to announce a forthcoming EP on the Bella Union label. Colours Of The Night (Satellite) is a preview of whats to come on my next full-length album, due out next spring, simply called Colours Of The NightThe satellite is a collection of material that revolves around the album. It contains two versions of the title track: one from a recent session in Luzern, Switzerland where the rest of the album was recorded, along with a fantastic cast of local musicians there and another version recorded and dubbed out by my good friend Greg Haines in Berlin. Plus a few other tracks that didnt quite make it onto the album. Colours Of The Night is a song that Ive been playing for years at my solo concerts and many times people have asked me where they can find the recording of that song. Finally I have an answer. its right here! In support of the new EP Ill be hitting the road for a European tour in October. Ill be joined by my friends from Switzerland with whom I recorded the album my first tour with a full band!.
