2012 release from the Atlanta, GA-based country/southern rock band. They have performed throughout the United States as both headliner and as the supporting act for artists such as Zac Brown Band, ZZ Top & Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Whippoorwill is released on Zac Browns Southern Ground label.

Produced by the band with Matt Mangino and Zac Brown Bands Clay Cook and Zac Brown, The Whippoorwill features a bakers dozen of strong southern rock tunes in the tradition of 38 Special, Marshall Tucker Band and of course Lynyrd Skynyrd. Theres not a clunker to be found on the record and while very few songs could be classified as country music in a traditional or even pop sense, it feels downright traditional when compared to Brantley Gilbert.
