The track topped the UK Singles Chart for two weeks in 1975 and proved 10ccs breakthrough hit outside of the UK; topping the charts in Canada and Ireland as well as peaking within the top 10 of the charts in several other countries, including Australia, West Germany, New Zealand, Norway and the United States, where it peaked at enjoyed lasting popularity, with over three million plays on US radio since release, and won three Ivor Novello Awards in 1976 for Best Pop Song, International Hit of the Year, and Most Performed British Work. It has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including The Virgin Suicides and Guardians of the , the BBC have crowned Im Not In Love the greatest love song of all time ready for its 50th anniversary next year. Released on Valentines Day on suitably romantic red vinyl, the 7 features the full length single (unpopularly edited to 4mins for its original 1975 release) and backed with original B-side Good release features new artwork & visualiser designed by 10ccs Kevin Godley.
