During this fruitful period Marvin produced such timeless hits as It Takes Two with Kim Weston, plus numerous duets with Tammi Terrell including Aint No Mountain High Enough, Your Precious Love, Aint Nothing Like the Real Thing, and Youre All I Need to Get By. In 1968, Gayes seminal version of I Heard It Through The Grapevine became his first number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
