New split single by experimental rap group Clipping and Cooling Prongs. Clipping. rapper and Grammy and Tony Awardwinner Daveed Diggs originated two roles in the smash Broadway musical, ‘Hamilton’, and is a prolific actor, with roles in ‘Snowpiercer’, ‘Blackish’, ‘Blindspotting’ and more. Clipping. members Jonathan Snipes and William Hutson are prolific soundtrack and experimental musicians. They worked together on the film ‘Room 237’, and Snipes made the soundtrack for horror film, ‘Starry Eyes’. This new split single by Clipping and Cooling Prongs features Clipping’s noise-infused remake of J-Kwon’s 2004 hit, ‘Tipsy’, on the A side, and a harrowing ambient noise track by Cooling Prongs on the B side. Available to independent retailers on 7” single.
